Vince Green
All the small venues around London where we used to go to watch live bands (with the exception of the Roundhouse) have disappeared long ago. It's the way of the world. The question really is why was the local council funding it in the first place? It's hardly core council business is it? Yellow Bear
It was also the Lieboor party that killed off most of the small pub type venues with it's licencing laws.

We used to go out to pubs to get out of the house. The alternative was watching Coronation Street on our only TV with your mum and dad. Now you can buy booze at half the price you would pay in a pub and watch any band you like for free on YouTube
