If they do it to early the grit is more slippery than the ice that comes later anyway. I came off the bike last night on exactly that sort of surface! £250 smackers to put it right P. The council leave a grit box, with contents, out all summer, for the kids to climb on, for somewhere so that they can practice their graffiti skills, and for all the dogs to p*** and **** on and around it.
