some things work togetherย 

beef and horseradishย  ๐Ÿ‘ย YES

scampi and tartare. ๐Ÿ‘ย YES

lamb and mint. ๐Ÿ‘ย YES

pork and apple....................ย  ๐Ÿ‘Žย  NO - not for me

..............LEMON AND MADRAS........ย  Never tried, but suspect a ๐Ÿ‘Žย for me

But otherwise, all look fantastic.

i kid you not it was my own reciepe.....and i tell you now lemon/little demerara/juice of a whole lemon/ the zest as well/oil/2 big table spoons of Madras powder....mix it up ...cut chick breasts into big chunks and mix all together leave overnite

it was really tasty.....i was very pleased with the result

In fact the recipe I use for marinade to convert chicken to tikka/tandoori does have some lemon juice in, but most of the 'wet bit' is yoghurt.

ive given up using yogurt....i find it "blinds" the taste........always used yog' with tandorri...but not anymore....dont use lemon but use only lime on the cooked product
