I also changed over to Branston beans after reading your post on them. Superb in comparison, and I share your sentiment regarding the size of the tins. Myself and mrs 7 days half a can each when we have beans on toast. Supermarkets do a 220g tin which is a little less than the size of the normal 410g tin, however, the downside is they are virtually the same price. This is something I have noticed with the small tins of soup, they cost more than the usual size. Bloody retailers, capitalising on shrinkflation. JohnfromUK
9 hours ago, ditchman said: think Branstonare missing a trick tho...they dont sell them in half cans I use Branston, buy the normal tins and eat 1/3 tin as a normal portion. The other two portions keep fine in the fridge for a couple of days. As said, the smaller tins are much poorer value (when you can find them). My one at the moment is a Samsung WB250F , been a brilliant little camera and still haven't used some of the buttons and settings , it have had a few knocks like falling off the window sill and yet it still work alright although some colours are clearer than others and certain light of the day make a difference . 7daysinaweek
This is my go to for chips with fish and peas. Good moderate heat, with a slight kick, and fruity too! The local chippy does a superb 'Irish' spicy curry, lovely it is, only downside for me is that is causes 'gastrointestinal disturbance' on a grand scale. 🥵
