dainty duck
I was watching Tv and an advert for these tracker's came on with a bloke saying it was great that he could tell where his dog was up to 500yrds away , it gave him great delight when his dog came scuttling through a hedge from god only where , I can see these have a place on rescue dogs and tracking deer and game , but for Joe public to stick one on his pooch and let it race about with the idea in his head that he is in control of his dog is stupid and in certain circumstances breaking the law ! what's your thoughts ? ditchman
i think in certain circumstances it would be useful....like picking up after a duck flight in the dark...in difficult areas ? but a well trained dog is the answer....

oldypigeonpopper
Hello, I do not have a Dog but I would think all you need is one of those flashing collars for every day walks

12gauge82
Depends! It should obviously not be a replacement for good training, but even some of the best trained dogs given the wrong circumstances could bolt after game ect. As peace of mind, or for a new dog from a rescue centre, particularly if it was found roaming, or many other examples, I could see a tracker as being very useful.
