The best part of it was the aroma in my kitchen when I frying the Onions , it smelt lovely , trouble is I haven't got any taste buds so I never get the true effect of what anything I do taste like , mind you my Apple pie and custard was nice 😋

7daysinaweek
That looks superb MM, well done, and you can certainly cook up a excellent meal. All power to Ditchy for giving you the recipe and the culinary instruction. I wouldn't have envied you in the past, plucking all of them. I never used to mind skinning and gutting a fair bag of rabbits. Plucking the odd peasant I can do, not a job lot though, I find myself skinning them. I used to pluck the odd brace of Pheasants for one or two people who used to do me favours but sadly most , if not all have passed on and now I know very few people who would eat game , before I drove the team of guns around all day I used to take my dog to pick up behind the back guns on one of our duck drives , I used to get a little extra and a brace of birds , in the peak year we used to have over 30 days so that would give you some idea how much game I brought home , then I done a lot of shooting myself and when the days didn't clash I went on another shoot near Norwich , even though this was a d i y shoot they used to get around 100 head , with the lack of demand for game they told you to help yourself as they didn't , or couldn't sell anything , now I just bring home what I want and go down the marsh when I want to get the odd shot and give my dog a retrieve as he love it and both of us are now getting near the finishing post . Hignet
Probably a bit late for you now but one of the best bits of equipment I've ever bought was a plucking machine no more endless hours sat on a bucket in the shed
