Your chips look slightly more colourful than mine , most likely came off the same field  , burgers to me are like Herring , I look forward to them now and again but once I have had one or two burgers I then give them a miss for a few months until I fancy them again , yours certainly look better than the ones I used to get for my wife when we had a full day out on a Sunday .

Some of the best ones I had , apart from the price ,were at the game fairs , I think it was the smell that attracted you to there stall .:drinks:

Burger looks overcooked, chips looks undercooked, an'stuff looks like,,,, a mess 😳

Other than that, hopefully it tasted good 🙃😆🤣

Summary,,,, not up to your usual high standards 🤔

Well we can always rely on a honest opinion from J K D , I had some chips tonight with a few leftovers and I even done them in the oven for ten minutes longer than it stated and they were still on the pale side , the worst ones are from M + S , I sometimes buy a box that have been reduced and on the front of the box it state 14 minutes , you can nearly double that and still won't burn them , I got fed up during my own in oil as they always look a bit oily , I am going to try some beef dripping as my two sacks of spuds are hardly being used , MM

No he didn't mean turning the oven on as I haven't made the same mistake twice ( YET ) no I think he meant am I warming the oven up before I put the chips in and at times no I am not , I add on five minutes or so on the timer and at other times yes I do put them in the oven when it is hot let alone warm , if I am doing something that need say 35 minutes and my chips need 20 to 25 minutes then I keep an eye on the clock and stick them in when the time is about right , some chips are better than others , some of the dearer ones from M + S are very nice with a light Brown colour when cooked but they are only for a treat now and again .   MM
