Thanks. Fish was snapper, a larger version of your sea breams. We do a lot of fancy stuff like sashimi, but this is a favourite in our house. Very easy recipe. Coat fish in flour, then egg wash and then panko breadcrumbs. You can shallow fry or deep fry. Both are fine, but deep frying is easier. Remove from oil when breadcrumbs are a deep golden colour and place on kitchen towel to drain excess oil. Done!

As for sauces, we like mayonnaise, but my 10 year old son and grandpa went for tomato sauce. Tartare sauce would be a good option.

Looks amazing. Is that the actual one your caught? It's pretty big.

Yeah, that size is pretty common! We call them pannies as in a fish you can fit in a frying pan. We have very big frying pans 😀

Some big fish from the jetski days...

I am very envious of the sea fishing in NZ, nice fish. 👍

It's good, no doubt. I could feed my family on fish everyday of the week without much effort if I'm boat fishing. It would be possible to do the same shore fishing, but would be more work.
