You ask a shop / dealer to order something, they tell you "oh that will be a week" and 4 weeks later nothing. The other one that happens is you place an order on line, cough up with the credit card, payment is taken and then you get an email saying "temporarily out of stock, due any day now". Et voila, your order is in limbo. Argos have a habit of doing this - rather than tell you "do you want to proceed with the order because we are temporarily out of stock" the ******* take your money, process the transaction and leave you hanging. So, with all of this in mind, can anyone recommend a place where I can get: 1. a super duper set of high 30 mm scope rings & mounts for a weaver rail. 2. pop up scope covers I ask this question mindful of the fact that the site sponsor doesn't sell these items. Ordered a cylinder online and within a couple of hours had a call to say they didn't have any so weren't processing the order, i thought that was really good.
