There was a phenomenal red sky sunrise this morning down here and all was still.

However, it has now got darker and its started raining heavily.

The West is forecast to get the worst of the wind, but its so open here that I expect it will be whistling round the chimney later on.

As long as my Sky dish doesn't move, I don't care.

It was a good morning with a light breeze so I went to beat at a shoot near Canterbury full of anticipation at working the cocker in the line. All was going well until we stopped for lunch at 12.00 and then it started to rain and rain and rain. The guns were fair weather ones so we only done one more drive after that and besides the birds weren't lifting.

I am guessing tomorrows ferreting will be canceled too
