The government see's that driving is a hobby so they will charge how ever much they want.

What needs to happen is the US and China to slow down on the imports of fuel so that the price of oil will drop down, but with the growth of china increasing and the weak US doller I can only see the price of oil going up for a long time.

No point in trying to lower the tax on fuel the government will steal your money from somewhere else.

"Some of those 'hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants', (and we are scared to **** of them) are dismantling this country (metal-wise) right under our noses. 'They' will be the army that destroys us!" The words of a nice guy who recently 'lost' (was stolen) £125,000 of aluminium and went out of business.

Sorry, nearly derailed this thread; and they use red diesel too!

Unfortunately we live in a country where:

Unemployment- will soon become the norm, as it is more cost effective for the individual to stay at home and claim benefits than to spend petrol money and time getting to work.

Council housing- will be a must, the individual will believe that the increasing costs in mortgages and living costs, such as gas and electric, coupled with the turn to unemployment, will force them into council accomodation. After all why should other people get council housing whereas some have to pay hurrendous mortgages?

Negative Equity - will become apparent. With increased costs of living etc and stupid bank of england rates, it's going to happen sooner rather than later.

And no matter how much shouting you or I do, nothing will change it, because there is always someone who will not tow the party line.

Is it really worth getting out of bed?
