starlight32 Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 Big subject for me at the moment-The anti activity against my wildfowling club has reached its peak this year on some of land local to where the anti's live. The main reason being becuause one is retired now and is available to the unsocial hours us wildfowlers operate. I thought we were wearing them down late on last season, Its the sound of gunfire which lures them out to play. I had resorted to going onto the marsh without the intention of shooting and letting a few shots off to get them out of bed. It worked many a time- only to see them appear and me clear off home immediately afterwards. On a more serious note I have met 'real anti's'. These people are not animal lovers purely 'people haters'. Do a google search on animal rights prisoners in the uk and their convictions-Not the sort of people you ask for tea, well nasty. The majority of anti's we meet are just the general public with an opinion, although be wary of a person in a position with an opinion, such as a boss. I had an engineering supervisor (who was female, and a fervent anti bloodsports campaigner with the looks of a bulldog chewing a wasp) who done her best to make my life difficult, when she found out I was big into my shooting- in the end I just jacked and got another job elsewhere........ Surprizingly a bucketful of rabbit and deer guts found there way into the two top drawers of her desk around about the last day of my employment, and it still puzzles me to this day why there was no-one who knew who done it. Stealth Stalker Posted December 17, 2007 Report Share Posted December 17, 2007 About 15 years ago my best mate was going out with this fruit loop anti hunt sab & LACS member she used to man the LACS stall in Harrow & she regularly went hunt sabbing all over the country. One day me & the Mrs had the dubious pleasure of being invited to a party of one of the ring leaders of the LACS organization "Kitty" was a horrendous dyke, real scary. There were pictures all over the place of her & her cronies in balaclavas releasing all manner of animals from vivisection units. The craziest thing that will stick with me was a recently "liberated" huge white rabbit the size of a pillow that lived in the corner of the lounge there was **** everywhere There was some seriously mad people at this party & I kept a very low profile before making our excuses and getting the **** out of there. Antis definitely view this site, but over the years only a 4 or 5 have bothered to register and post. We get to them very quickly and they disappear. Blackbart Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 I used to work my terriers for a hunt 2-3 days a week and have met lots of REAL antis,some anti hunt,some anti rich,some anti posh,and some anti everything!Didnt mind some of them,the ones that turned up with placards saying various things about what you are doing is wrong etc etc,after all its their right to do so,on the other side of the coin are the ones that walk up to you with a balaclava on and stick a camcorder in your face,blow hunting horns,kick horses and one very misguided fat lesbian,(who is very well known to most of the local hunts)who i stood and watched spray mace in a hounds face!!All of this from so called animal lovers. Near one of the farms i shoot on there was a mink farm and he was terrorised with antis he had them in his garden with balaclavas on,break ins,hundreds of mink released,even a bomb planted on his farm!!He had a wife and 2 kids at the farm with him and ended up having a heart attack over it all.The same fat lesbian as mentioned before was one of the main culprits that used to harras him and his family and was arrested on numerous occasions and eventually he got a court order keeping her 1000 metres away from his farm(i think 10 feet under his farm would have been better)but in the end the violence,intimidation etc worked they got there hunting ban and the government closed down all uk mink farms. SO IF AN ANTI APPROACHES YOU WITH A BALACLAVA ON JUST TREAT HIM THE WAY THEY HAVE TREATED FIELDSPORTS FOR YEARS,YOU CANT ARGUE WITH A WINNING FORMULA CAN YOU! Good man. :yp: Although remember guys, these antis are low life scum with nothing to lose. We have SGC's/FAC's to lose if the red mist descends and I am aware some pro-fieldsports people are silly enough to let antis to film them doing this and allow them to retain the film to put on the internet. I will leave you to interpret that comment as you wish. Alot of the footage online is edited to make the antis look good.
