paul65
I met Lulu yesterday. She was at my work and did a couple of songs for us. She was brilliant, great fun and I have to say, for an older bint, I really wouldn't mind a go of her. On the other hand I once got into an unseemly scuffle with Red Ken Livingston at Piccadilly Circus tube station and he was a total a-hole. Anyone else got any positive or negative personal experience of the famous or infamous?

TPR1966
Lucky you paul65 This year I have met: Alan Ball @ the New Wembley Stadium along with Chris Camara, Franco Zola and a Sky Sports presenter can't think of his name right now, also got Alan Balls siggy before he curled his toes up, sad to hear he passed away after seeing him not so long before. I met Claire Balding @ Aintree, also got her Autograph, she is a cracking lady even if she do's come across all butch on the TV, also the same day I had my picture taken with Alice Plunkett from @ the races, met John Parrot same day. And that was just this years lol. I've got the pictures to prove this and I'll sort them in a bit when I've finished my brew
henry d
I was in the same year at school with Chris Donald, the guy who started Viz magazine, he was a train spotter and hung about with the other outcasts that every year at school seems to have. I`m sure he is a well rounded and generally a nice guy now, not to mention worth a fortune too. Bet he`s still a spotter too

Matt Hayes and John Wilson at the NEC...Matt took my Tenner for him to Autograph a Cap for my son, and John took time out to chat about his Fishing Gear. Gordon R
Sebastian Coe - taller than he appears and okay. Geoff Capes - smaller than he appeared. Not okay. Sam Torrance - as a kid, he was one of the lads in our village. At 7 years old, he looked like a minature of himself today, same haircut - minus the moustache. William Hague. He was complete let down. I was expecting Tory Boy, but he was the total opposite. Sharp, witty and a dry sense of humour. Seemed very genuine. Destroyed my image of him. Zapp
The Queen - Didnt actually speak to her but she seemed cheerful Prince Phillip - Ditto, but less cheerful Maggie T - Very small, but polite enough to stop her conversation to say good morning as she passed Gen Sir Mike Jackson - quite grumpy Lembit Opik - walking down whitehall about a month ago on the day of the state opening of parliament, resisted the urge to make any cheeky girl jokes Nick Ross from crimewatch - not much to say really Some girl from x factor a few years ago in my local asda (she was called Kirsty I think), VERY fit Dr John Reid (then defence secretary) - complete pillock, ignores expert advice if it doesnt suit his agenda. Dr David Kelly - met him a couple of times through work. Quiet and unassuming, but very knowledgable. Matt Lawrence (Footballer at Crystal Palace, also captained Milwall against Man U in the cup final a couple of years ago) - he is my best mates brother in law. Lovely chap, not at all like you would imagine a footballer! ZB

ME
I met Neil Morrissey, Jeremy Clarkson, James May & Richard Hammond when I went to watch Top Gear being filmed. Jeremy Clarkson smoked like a chimney and was as funny in real life as he is normally. He called some bloke a **** off camera and had to apologise to his mum who was there too !! jerico
all of therapy? The basist Micheal told me to **** off when I tried to take a picture of him, then thought better of it and ran away!!!! Baz Talked me into going to see these guys a few years ago, at the time I was heavily into my drum and base having dj'ed it for a few years and I took a bit of arm twisting to go to a rock gig, Well I went and moshed my tits off and couldn't wait to go again, I also ended up with the Bass player mentioned above plec at the end of the gig. I got bang on with Rock music and when a couple of years later Baz phoned to say he had tickets to the next gig I was well up for it, Had a really mentalistic night that involved me and Baz showing stage divers where the floor was power bomb style and a pick pocket loosing the use of some digits. A couple of weeks later I answered the phone to a severe barrage of four letter words from Baz, It seems that out of hundreds of gigs and following the band since the early nineties he had collected a couple of plectrums, a drumstick and sang on stage with the band, at only my second gig The basist mentioned above stage dived towards me and while helping to hold him up a picture was taken and printed in Kerrange magazine! I doubt I will ever be forgiven The third gig he cried when Baz tried to take an ickle picture of him before the gig.
