Topgunners
UPDATE The turn out was well attended for John including a Trophy arranged for Topgun of the day by John's partner. The shooting consisted of 1 x round Sporting and 1 x round skeet. Some of the Birds were quite tricky and 2 or 3 of them drew a few mutterings as they were missed by quite a few of the shooters. The Skeet range caused all sorts of problems in the strong sunshine as 4/5 of the pots were facing straight at the sun ( or that's their excuse and they're sticking to it). The WINNER of the trophy was ; would you believe it; my shooting partner ALAN . WITH A 7 BIRD LEAD OVERALL' Good shooting Boy. (I'm sure John was giving him a helping hand or gust of wind.) I was on the camera as my shottie needs a new firing pin on bottom barrel. I will be there next year to take the trophy off him. At the end ;John's non-shooting partner and some friends of hers had a few rounds on the Skeet. And she ended up with a very sore shoulder to boot but everyone had a good day. Cranfield
Its great that the day was well attended and everyone enjoyed it. I assume you wore the firing pin out with all the shooting you do.
