AdamC
How many of us over indulged last night? For the first time for a while I did not, just had a can of a well known Irish Cider and a takeaway curry.

AdamC
I am reallly not a fan of New Years, I just cannot understand what all the fuss is about. I have gone out previous years, but only as a night out with mates, I just don't get all the excitement as Big Ben chimes, it is just another night. taz24
I stayed in waiting for my daughter to come home from babysitting. (I'm changing jobs she earnt £30 for looking after one sleeping baby) Went for a walk this morning to check my mum was OK and if the devistation I witnessed is owt to go by I'm glad I was not involved. There was vomit and disused fireworks everywhere and I witnessed one bloke who had not quite made it home and was fast asleep on the pavement outside his house (his wife looking on very disaprovingly) All the best taz. J@mes
got absolutely battered, went to bed at 5am, up at 11am and straight outside to clean up the mess in next doors garden (where the party was) and then in the shower, feel fine! darebear
i feel fine. although, that might have something to do with attending a party an hour away from me. i was driving so i don't even bother having one if i'm behind the wheel. scaffy? you had so better NOT be working next New Year's. Chard
I feel good, had a few beers and a drop of Jim Beam at home. Didn't fancy queuing for a drink with a load of drunks Watched everybody elses expensive fieworks, then went to bed

Pedro
Apart from a stinking cold and sore throat, I feel fine. I was working last night opposite the Millenium wheel, but didn't get to see any of the fireworks because of crowd control stuff What struck me most was that most of the people who attended weren't British, all bloody Johhny foreigners ! And as for the silly ***** that take little kids to these things.................................... P.

JohnGalway
but have a seriously sore throat to contend with Soluable dispirin, dissolve in lukewarm glass of water, gargle and swallow. Sore throat be gone, works wonders.

AdamC
Yeah the soar throat gargling thing really works well. Quick tip, if suffering from a cough also, bung a couple of couple 5ml spoons of Benylin into it and gargle as normal... works a treat!! Interesting to watch the pole as the day has gone on. Towards the begining I was thinking most must of had a moderate new year, but as the day went on and the sufferers started to rise and shine, so the poll started to even out. All the best everyone.
