Biffo1262
The trouble with some Tasco scopes advertised on Ebay is that they are clones and not the genuine article. Tasco do make some good stuff but they also cater for the budget market too. I suggest you go to a shop that retails them if you want to assess them yourself and if you want to buy online make sure you buy from a reputable source. I have a Tasco that came with a s/h rifle and to be honest it seems pretty well built and the optics are clear and bright and I also bought a Tasco spotting scope for my grandson that isn't quite so good (budget item). As with anything - the more you can afford to pay, the better the quality (up to a point). Edited January 7, 2008 by Biffo1262
Gavo
Thanks for all the replies guys ... much appreciated. I think I will prob go down the Hawke Sport route to go onto my new gun and not risk getting a Tasco made by someone else. Cheers Gav
