682 Gold E in the field

Recommended Posts

I'm relatively new to shooting and have been using my Beretta Gold E only for clays. My cousin has invited me to join him for a pigeon day (my first time out on live birds) Will the gold e be fine using 30g number 6's??

Any advice would be welcome

You'll be fine, although as said make sure your chokes are correct for the quarry you are shooting.

A mate has the same gun and uses it exclusivley for the field or sporting clays because he likes it and has confidence in it; he takes out the MK38 for trap disciplines.

Yep

I've used mine many times in a hide... although it's a bit heavy, and the 30" barrels can make it hard work to open and close in the hide, it's fine and the pigeons didn't argue :good::wub:

I did end up buying a lighter SP3 20g though...
