skb 557 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Share Posted March 17, 2008 More disapointment rfom this company and disapointment is all i have had from them, over 1week ago i ordered a new bsa super ten i was on the phone they took my card deatils and AFTER they took payment i was told they dont keep theose rifles in stock and i was i little disapointed and they told me if you dont have it by thursday call back, so i did and appaontly theve never haird of me and could i call back on friday,, so i did and they then rembered the £600 they took from me and said to me ARR well we have a rep from bsa here now well get your rifle out to you for monday if i could just call back on saterday to confierm so i did,, and they told me arr yes sir we have your rifle here it will be checked and sent out on monday and youll have it by tuesday but i was asked again to call on monday to arrange were it is been sent??? MONDAY is here ive called and guess what they dont have any and are still awaiting delivery of said super10 so after 9days of being messed about and god knows how many phone calls later i still have no new rifle so i cancelled my order and shall never darken my lips again with the dreaded words the airgun centre If they hadnt of deceved me i maybe wouldnt of cancelled but i do feel very let down by them and ive tried to order the same rifle this morning and 4 other shops have told me that the bsa super ten is an spiecal order only item taking up to six weeks to arrive, so now im a unhappy chappy with no new toy no money and no hope [jee's i sound i rete sad case ] but my point is please DONT bother with the airgun centre although im sure their's alot of folks out their whove had wonderfull deallings with them but ive not....... There really is no excuse for this. They should have known the delivery delay in the shop, and been up front from the start. I think it should me made law that all retailers who advertise a product are req'd to state that it is either a stock item or an order only product. How often have we all ordered and payed for bits off the internet only to be told 'Sorry Sir, we don't have any' a week later. It's not only shooting either, I bought a tent last year, three different internet suppliers let me down cos they didn'y have any even tho they were on their sites. So I payed for one to be transported to my local tent shop direct from the manufacturers and they were brilliant. And they pricematched it cos I'd done all the work for them. I would say Very good Service. on other sites they also get a very good review so I don't know what has gone wrong. Face to face and a while ago but couldn't do enough for me and my mate, mind we spent £1500 in there so I'd be surprised if they didn't. I had issues afterwards with a leaky seal in my TDR, they picked it up sorted it out and had it back to me in 4 days. They also sent me a card to remind me to drop it in for annual servicing, remembering I had problems when I got it they touched up a few scratches on the cylinder and replaced some seals free of charge, waiving the carrier to send it back to me. I don't know the technicalities but it seems that face to face doesn't necessarily have to be in a shop. I would have thought that the 'delivery man' ought to be an RFD tho. They'll usually give you a good deal. I got £150 off of my CZ527 Varmint just by telling them someone else did it at that price.
