el-chimbo
Hey All, i'v just seen my rfd has got in saga 12g high-speed shotgun shells, in 6's, 5's and 4's, all are 2 & 3/4 or 70mm, from what I can tell they are inbetween normal and magnum rounds.. any-one used these? and are they any good?? cheers, matt
anser2
I have used SAGA 1 1\8oz loads , they were ok but the kick was unconfortable if you shot a lot of them. Edited April 5, 2008 by anser2
Floating Chamber
So fast, the head, base-wad and tube can often part company; I have seen a Benelli rip off the head and then the tube and base-wad had to be rodded out. Alarming if perchance the base-wad was left unnoticed ahead of the chamber. It seems that some hulls are getting very flimsy in constuction. I picked up a box(25) of the 36g No.4's in high speed just to have a go, makes too much of a mess on bunny even at 50+ yards.. brill on the fox tho as one found out earlier!! lol... there's a fair old kick on them tho!! and i'v been using saga rounds for a good while now with no problems at all..
