Peter De La Mare
Are you really allowed to shoot English Skeet gun up? Watching Todd Bender winning the 2006 20g Skeet championship and every single one of them was gun up. I'm stuck on 23/25 at that discipline, but I shoot everything gun down regardless (I don't shoot trap) and I can imagine that 25 gun up would be pretty easy?? Or, is it just an 'Americanism' to shoot English Skeet gun up?

clayman
The rules of English ( National) skeet allow gun up for all shots. Many top shots prefer gun up, if you do come gun down, only push it forward and away from the face a small amount, its only to improve your pick up vision, then get it in the shoulder and put on the lead ASAP. In Olympic skeet you are forced to shoot gun down , as this makes it harder!! Clayman
