The only problem being that they already have FAC holder's using there land. would this stop me from being granted a FAC Many thank's Graham as DaveK has said unless the number of fac holders on this ground has reached plague proportions then you should be fine, just make sure you have an accompanying letter to say you have been given permission for the firearm in question then it is all up to the land checks so here's the chance to get more than one firearm on a fac ie .22 .222 .243 multi shot shotgun(5 shot) just get the landowners to put these in the letter of permission just a few suggestions TH Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was up in berwick last year deer stalking when a guy with a 243 nearly 2 fields across decided to take a roe deer 30 yds in front of me in the field,safe shot he reckoned but he didnt see me, now thats scary,and after pacing his shot it was over 400 steps,and he missed the deer. have you ever heard a 243 bullet whistling past you I have and dont like it Hes never been back again and wouldnt be allowed back anyway as he just went out without ringing and asking. njc110381 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Share Posted June 23, 2008 It's a strange noise isn't it. When you hear the gun fire a second or more later that makes it even more weird! As for multiple FAC holders on ground, it's ok unless there are a lot. The police do get a bit funny if too many people use the same land. I suspect it to be something to do with the "good reason" to have a firearm. Anyone with land could do well for themselves selling permission slips if it was unchecked Having less than five would be ok I'd have thought, especially if you know each other and shoot together too.
