apbuild
Does anyone know of a retailer for the HH inflatable pigeon decoys? I have searched for them for ages. Pete Theobald, the pigeon expert from Sporting Gun uses them. I suppose I could drop him a line, but I thought I would ask you lot first. Cheers guys and gals. Rob. Roger_Rabbit
Any old copies of Sporting Gun ?? (about 1 year) Very small add in the Classified. BUT .... I used them approx 20 years ago .. an honest opinion Rob, very good but a right pain in the ar*e. The inflatable bit is a 'party' balloon, problems tying the knot, even bigger problems undoing the knot. Metal cradle fixes inside the body for legs / support. Body made of rubber type compound that requires a lot of care. Obviously technology may have changed ?? I think somewhere I have the ad .... may take a bit of time to find. Only my opinion (again) you cant get better than "flock". Used my HH's for years .... moderately expensive.

Cranfield
I had some many years ago, they seemed no better than standard decoys (pre flocked) and were a pain to set out. I gave mine away.

Roger_Rabbit
Rob .. a bit late, :*) D.V. Morrison, 10 Church Lane, Wrestlingworth, Sandy, Beds SG19 2EU. 01767 631308. My mate still uses his .. thinks their 20 years old !!!! His top tip .. and he aint takin' the **** ................. Dont use the balloons .. use "condoms" Seriously .. he tells me there is a condom thats extra tough (double thick) and specifically made for the Gay community that will last years. Plus .. because they are stronger the decoys inflate to a bigger size. Could be a job for the wife to blow them up For that matter .. could be a job for the wife to buy them :*)
