Sako7mm Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 I've mounted cabinets to thermalite blocks on 10 or 12 occasions now with no problems at all, without resorting to chemical anchoring systems. I always use 100x10mm frame fixings (normally used for window fitting). They're far more forgiving to the blockwork than rawlbolts and perfectly secure. myzeneye Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 (edited) sako, i use them to mount central heating boiler jigs as mentioned above...... 100 or 150mm 7.5 SPAX.......(torx bit) no plugs required just drill a 6.5mm hole...... strong as an ox.
