H&N FTT's in .22 (500's) at .............wait for it.........£3.75 a can!

SDS watersports at Killamarsh near Sheffield.

I was passing so I just dropped in (save on the petrol like.)

Nearly crapped myself when the bloke tells me the price & had all on to resist throwing the credit card at them saying "I'll buy all you've got in the shop".

Reckon they'd have smelled a rat & re-checked the prices if I'd bought more than 5 cans.

Can't guarentee they won't twigg, but if anyone's local & fancies some cut price H&N's....

Not sure they do mailorder but you can try for the cost of a phone call.

Don't blame me if they've cottoned-on to their underpricing.

Any way, just given 'em a little road test

Feel & fit is a bit like Accupels... a fraction tight in the barrel & a slightly harder alloy than say AA's.

A bit more kick due to the tight fit but boy do they go where i put 'em!

Just as well & just in time.... wife reports seeing "a lovely little squirrel" in the garden today.

Little swine has eaten through a bird feeder & scoffed the contents.

I'm going to name him "number 16" as I like to give all our garden visitors meaningful names (if you see what I mean). Let's just say his days are numbered.

thanks for this..........

i've been using 5.53's which are tight, and weigh in at 14.4g, just bought a tin of 5.50's and they weigh in at 15.2....... oooooooo'

so with these few i have, it appears the wider the head the lighter they are........

all great learning stuff..........

yesterday, i fired through the crono, 2 mags, 8 shots per mag, with the results, i applied to extorians webby, with their pellet weights @ 15.56g... with both figures, i was shooting at 12.3fps... which made me enquire about pellet weights. i ended up, with a friend, buying a set of digital scales to weigh my h & n's....

H&N FTT .22

5,53'S - 14.4g

5,50's - 15.2g.

thanks... martyn.
