Nice work Vimm. my dad has a collection of 5 terriers; an old lakeland bitch, a jack russel and 3 pups out of the 2. The pups are showing great potential. The 2 older dogs bolt foxes every time and the only time we have to use the spade is during the spring an odd time.

Hello all,

Dont get me wrong, I'm not shocked by the pictures and having a good working terrier is a joy to own but I think the last picture with the dog round the foxes neck is fuel for the antis.

But thats just my point of view, it shows little respect for our prey, and yes we know they are vermin but we should show them a little respect after all we have just taken their life.

Bets that raised a few eyebrows.

I think it's fine, after all it's not illegal. It would be a different story if the fox was still alive. Also it gives the dog a bit of confidence and reward for it's hard work.

We always let our pups have a pull at the dead fox so they gain a bit of confidence.
