Chard
I'm also going through a mediocre spell at the moment It's weird, but I know so many people who are, must be the time of year There's a number of blokes at Worsley who normally average very good scores, but they're way down lately. Very odd. I don't think I know anybody who is "on form" at the moment.
ME
I went out and watched the rugby in the pub yesterday afternoon and rather than stopping at the "warm and fuzzy" level I carried on into the evening too I had every intention of going today, the mind was willing, but the headache was telling me that a quiet day at home was in order ! I am now glad I did with no burger van......I would have been suicidal !!!!
paulos
I also had a mediocre day today As a nice warm up to claiming "The Daddy" title in a couple of weeks I went and shot 100 A/R reg. Shot DTL - 24/25, ABT - 18/25, Skeet - 25/25, Sporting - 17/25. Final result - 84/100 So I need some ABT and sporting practice ASAP ready for Northampton Edited February 8, 2009 by paulos

Peter De La Mare
Was on for a 48/50 at White Bear until I got to the last stand and missed the last two pairs. I think I was celebrating a little too early. 44/50. Utterly ashamed of myself. Please feel free to call me a total, complete and utter, count without the 'o'. Won't be rushing to go back there, it's quite quaint, but not my cup of tea.
paulos
I shot a pants 39/50 this morning, largely as a result of a naughty, fast L to R crosser which I just couldn't seem to get the hang of. Shot a 25/25 on the skeet though so ended the day well!
ME
where's Broken Man with todays scores then ?..... where's Evil Elvis with the gloating.... Nice to meet Chris Nicholls and Munglers mate Terry, both fine fellows. As usual a good laugh and I am now officially EE's bitch after today ! ChrisNicholls
Well I very much enjoyed meeting up with the Essex crowd today at Copfurn - I was warmly welcomed and made to feel part of the crowd from the off I enjoyed the shoot too although a couple of the stands made a monkey of me - I'll get some practise on those for the next time There has been much progress since I last shot clays, it has all gone electric now - some things don't change though, I was put into B class after submitting my card after being nicely beaten by a C class bandit Had a great time guys (and gal) look forward to seeing y'all next week. Must be late again!!!! Here they are....TAAAA RAAAA It has to be said that Mungler won after a shootout as did EE. Mungler 67/80 Bagsy 67 broken Man 61 EE 56 LV 56 Chris 53 Mrs BM 42 Fatcat 41 I'd like to add that EE won overall as there were lots of orange clays flying about, and if they'd been black...he would have hit them all. Bagsy
Top day and good to put some more faces to names as always. I reckon Chris will have sprouted a moustache the next time he shoots with us, not bad I reckon EE lost a couple of clays on stand 9 when that strange smell drifted in across the shoot and put him off Edited February 15, 2009 by Bagsy

Id be lucky to make the "newbie" class at Copfurn....I just cant get on with it!!! Did a 20 on skeet on the way home which wasnt too bad considering I havent done skeet since I last shot with Paulos!!!

ChrisNicholls
Not really fair to call him a bandit odd way to wear your cartridge belt though - slung over one shoulder. Well done to Mungler who handled the 'golden goal' pressure very well, Bagsy, you should have used the same tactic you used on stand 9 victory would have been assured.
