Nissan xtrail

My mum has one and it seems quite good. Space in the back for two dogs (flatcoat and golden retriever), plenty of power for my step-dad to enjoy, legroom in the front and back. It's quite nice to drive too (took it up to Beverly once).

I don't like the dash in the middle of the car, but that's just me. Also, the boot is not as big as my Frontera's, but that doesn't bother her in the slightest.

Hitman,

Not got one myself but did consider one a while back, I spoke with a Nissan Dealership Service department, the guy there was very helpful, he did say that they had had trouble with turbo's amongst other things.

He advised to go for as late a one as possible, think he said "55" Plate onwards were more reliable.

Do a search on google for Xtrail problems or look on Parkers at the owners reviews.

Good Luck

Hewey

Oh thats right, you use yours a shooting wagon, dirty inside and out, corn in the boot. OMG LOL. You should be a woman!

Down to the axles? Is that cos you drove across a field (in crop at the bottom of a hill) in the winter.
