heres mine, Ghillie, good with the gun and hunts great - but scared to death of other dogs and people. any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I have convinced my wife that ours need to be "socialised" so we take them to the pub. We occasionally drop in after a walk, have a bite to eat and a pint, they soon get into the routine, they know they'll get a chip if they are good.

Edit: oops, may be a bit late but good advice

Lovely looking dogs Mickey

Thanks, they are fine specimens.  My lad, Buzz, is nearest, his brother Chance is in the middle and dad, Rolex, farthest away (they belong to the missus who trials)

Barney the Sprocker is one year old today.

Seven months ago when he broke his elbow we could never have imagined we would have such a fit and very fast dog as we have now. To coin Ditchman’s phrase we have a Barnyard Rocket.

As far as training is concerned all I have done with him is sit and stay and return on the whistle. There is no rush with the rest of his training as Jasper is my shooting dog and I would like Barney to be a puppy for a bit longer yet.
