A Snow Blind

Okay some of you were talking about hunting birds in the middle of a field and making snow blinds from snow. Here is a much easier way to construct a blind and combined with white dispossable coveralls....I add a white belaclava and gloves aswell....lets you set up anywhere you like for ducks, geese, pigeons, rabbits, deer or fox.

Go down to the local builders store and pick up:

4) sections of plain white sytrofoam boards 2"x2'x4'

8) 2 1/4" eye bolts with nots and 16) accompaning flat washers

8)mini bungy cords roughly 6 inches long

First off drill a hole 4 inches in on each corner of the styrofoam....4" from top or bottom and sides....Then using a flat washer on each side of the eye bolt snug these through the holes facing the outside of your blind. Butt your corners together and hold inplace with small bungy cords. Takes about 1/2 an hour to make, and about 3 minutes in the field to set up. Combined with white camo you are basically invisable.

Good idea but it doesnt snow that much in england, so its not really worth the effort. you might as well just make a hide using white dust sheets that cost a couple of pounds.

I used to just use a white camo net and this worked well.

Or get a normal net and rip up an old white sheet that you dont use (ask the wife first) :good: and weave it inbetween the netting so it looks like snow on a bush.
