I need to buy some new decoys.

As posted elsewhere, I have asked for any good Kent Gun Shops with a fair variety, but I have had no response.

I prefer to see what I am buying before I buy it.

Does anyone have any good catalogue recommendations for a good range of decoys and camo nets etc.

Also, I am looking at the advert for the Pigeon Magnet "Pecker" in March,s Sporting Gun, can anyone else work out what the price is?

Anyone had any experience of these?

Any help, as always, would be appreciated.

Hi Cranfield.

Try www.deben.com and www.attacc.com - both have catalogue request screens or you can browse the catalogues online.  Both do a reasonable range of decoys, netting, clothing etc.

I've never used a pigeon pecker, but Lazza has probably got one  :(   .  (Whatever you do, don't ask Deako  :0 ).

Cranfield,

I feel the same way,Ilike to know what I'm getting before parting with my cash.If I use decoys,I only ever use flock covered ones cos they're the best.Only thing is they cost £4-£5 each.I use a local supplier, and they are pretty good, they make most of the equipment themselves, and do a superb set of hide poles for about £30.A magnet costs about £100 and is well made.Let me know if you want the phone number. As for the pecker,I can't get a firm price from pigeonmagnet either!!

Rest assured however,it'll be as overpriced as the rest of their gear.

Hiya Cranfield

If you go to Tips & Tricks & go onto page 2, there is a topic called Pigeon Peckers. I gave the price & my opinion on the one I have.If your interested I could post you one on.If you would like to know more, email me & I'll give you my phone number. I totally agree with Deako about their gear being overpriced. If only I knew then what I know now! :(
