that is bad luck, cleaning a land rover can be a rare occurence,

 

'95 defender 110 300tdi.

 

And yes I made the mistake of showing it a cloth and cockpit shine. I even fixed a speaker on the CD.

it sounds like the clutch rod has poked through the clutch arm

 

good point, hd ones are about ten quid,

 

pad point the engine or gearbox has to come out.

yep :good: swivel ball pushes through, clutch pedal goes solid OR the push rod has jumped off the clutch arm?, which could be a much easier job :yes: either way i cant see how it could help dave's tiddler

It pushed through. had a complete new clutch and while he was at it he found an oil leak and put 2 new seals in and a new dif-lock sender. Total cost incuding labour? £317.49. :good: Jobs a goodun.
