Hi All,

I have a few chokes for my 525 but seem to be shooting skeet more than anything and figured they wouldn't make skeet chokes if they didn't help :yp:

Where is the cheapest place to buy a pair in the UK or is it worth buying from the US? I don't mind Browning or Briley, any suggestions welcome.

Cheers,

Jon.

some 525 are invector some are invector +

you cant put invector + chokes in an invector gun or vica versa.

your barrells will be clearly marked invector or invector +

teague and briley are the most common aftermaket choke ,try teague direct or chris potter for briley.

So i can use Invector or invector plus without problems? I got 4 x Invector's and 2 x Briley with the gun.

Are they not different lenghts?

yes obviously they are ,whats your point? :hmm:

Why obviously? Obviously not obvious to jonD as he asked the question!

The invector chokes are small ones the invector plus are longer and then you can also get either in extened . . . that was my piont.

vmobiler i dont understand why you highlighted a quote from my post in red ,i just dont see your point, what are you getting at,invector and invector plus can not be interchanged ,what part of that is confusing to you?

guns like the 325 /425/525 are or were available in either invector or invector+ options.

is that clear enough.

I was highlighting the fact that they are not interchangable.

Now is it clear? I was not confused at all as I have had several brownings.

I was just backing up what you had said ... I`ll not bother trying to help people if this is the sort of response you get on here!

I really appreciate the clarification :)

The advice prevented me making an expensive and potentially dangerous mistake, we all have to start somewhere :P

Cheers,

get a briley set of cylinders...... if you are shooting ounce loads of #9

get a set of skeets if shooting 24g or 21g #9s......

if you are shooting 7.5s in any loadings i`d be inclined to go skeet.

get briley normal chokes...... the quality is stunning. i have a full and full set, and my skeet scores are representative of that fact !

-sadly
