Cranfield
Telling us where you are would help, unless you want to buy them online at Just Cartridges. Also, fibre wad is more expensive than plastic, so state your preference.

Look up Just Cartridges' web site and look at 'bin ends', there are always some good deals going especially at the end of the game season. They are about 30 miles south of me and well worth a visit, I have never seen so many pallets of carts - and friendly
Vince Green
All these 28g cartridges are just cheaper because they have less shot in them. Now ask yourself is that really a saving?

motty
28g clay carts are also ideal for pigeon shooting or game shooting, killing cleanly at 40 yds+.

woolmep
Hi, Been an avid reader of PW since I started clay shooting in January. It's been very informative - a good source of advice and unbiased opinions, so thanks. I've been trying to get a better price on the carts that I use - Hull CompX fibre 28g and 21g and I'm willing to buy 20000 - 30000 if I can get a good price. There in lies the problem, all the places I've asked either offer no discount on any quantity or a very small one (2% if 10000) and that's not worth the outlay. Does anyone know where I can get a decent discount on that quantity (Floating Chamber or anyone else)? Also, I don't see any issues with having these in storage for a couple of years as long as they are dry. Am I right on that? I'm paying £138/1000 28gr and £132/1000 for 21gr and I'm Bucks. Willing to travel a few hours if necessary. Thanks for any advice you can give.
