Greenhunter
Its first test flight in the garden. Not much wind but I did get a bit of movement out of it. Will be trying it out for real soon.

seisobs
looks really good Greenhunter, on par with your pigeon floaters, if they work as good as them you are going to hammer the crows. I like the wings and tail, how did you make them and what paint did you use? Well done again. Jake.

Greenhunter
Hello Jake, Nice to see you back on dry land! Three layers of 1.5mm foam I found at a local model shop which was gray/black to start and I over-sprayed with plasicoat? or similar will do. I did put wire in between the layers on the leading edges and in the end flight feathers so that it gave it more strength and I was able to bend the ends of the 'feathers' up to create a more realistic look. The tail is camping mat. I had some laying about. Great as a one-off but I would hate to have to go into production with them, although I did save the templates so I think I will have to do another one for the rotary. As usual, any advice or help needed just ask. GH

Not gone into as much detail as you on the wings but well done they look very good. Will be a few months off yet till we are ready for general sale.
