Hello Jake, Nice to see you back on dry land!

Three layers of 1.5mm foam I found at a local model shop which was gray/black to start and I over-sprayed with plasicoat? or similar will do.

I did put wire in between the layers on the leading edges and in the end flight feathers so that it gave it more strength and I was able to bend the ends of the 'feathers' up to create a more realistic look. The tail is camping mat. I had some laying about.

Great as a one-off but I would hate to have to go into production with them, although I did save the templates so I think I will have to do another one for the rotary.

As usual, any advice or help needed just ask.

You beat us to it GH, we are currently playing with the idea at the moment, just getting our bracketing system and balancing points correct. Not gone into as much detail as you on the wings but well done they look very good.

Will be a few months off yet till we are ready for general sale.
