Wriggler
It looks like I have an allergy to my ferrets. I come out in a rash, very much like hives, whenever I have handled them. I've tried anti hystermines and they work for a while but they get less effective the more I am around the ferrets. I want to work them over the winter but it is starting to look like I wont be able to unless someone can come up with a bright idea. Thanks
Bleeh
I'm sorry to say it looks like you are all out of luck. For ferrets to be effective at working, the need handling thoughout the year, and if you are not able to do that, I don't think it's fair to keep them at all. Prehaps you should find someone you know local and give them the ferrets to keep, under the condition he can work them with you over winter? Wriggler
I've tried rubber gloves, been to the docs and got stronger antihistamines but nothing works, I'm still getting the rash. Anyone local want any ferrets. I'm in Teesside btw.
