Water Rock
I thought I would ask the experts. I live in the US and am looking for a nice pair of leather wellies. My buddy had a pair of hunters which he loved but they don't make them anymore. I don't really want rubber. Could you please help me out? If I had to get rubber though which ones should I buy? Thanks if you want to come to the states and kill pigeons I have some sweet spots!
steve_b_wales
I have a pair of Le Chameau which are a top quality rubber make, but with a leather lining. They are excellent in my opinion. Edited August 18, 2009 by steve_b_wales
Gully
Musto Buckden boots. I have a pair, one of the press studs came off so they're replacing the boots completely. Waterproof and warm.
Baldrick
I have a pair of Dubarry leather wellies, lined with Goretex, for offshore sailing. Although I look like an utter nonce when wearing them, they are warm (without being too overpowering) and reasonably durable. Having said that, they don't get soaked in blood, cow muck and farm chemicals like my gumboots/shooting boots do.

sambu13
The Le chameau wellies towards the top of the range are great, really high quality rubber and very warm! Or Ariats are supposed to be good and built on a walking book sole i belive.
