Pigeon Watch Terms & Conditions
By using the Pigeon Watch Forums, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may change or update these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of Pigeon Watch bulletin board means that you accept any new or modified terms. By registering, you certify that all information you provide in the registration is accurate.
Users may only maintain one active registration. By accepting this agreement, you certify that you have no other registration with Pigeon Watch.
As part of the forum registration process, you will be required to select and choose a "forum username". Your forum username must not be related to a business, nor be your given name (or an abbreviation thereof) or any name by which you are otherwise known or which can identify you personally.
You must not post any personally identifiable information including but not limited to your real name, your residential or business address, your telephone contact numbers or email address. The site owner cannot be responsible for any disclosure by you of any personally identifiable information whether any such disclosure by you was intentional or otherwise.
Members are not permitted to post links to sites and facilities that compete directly with our Advertisers. Anyone with a personal interest in a business, is not permitted to promote, advertise or post links to their business, without seeking the permission of the Site Owner (Teal), this is called "good manners". Members are not permitted to post links to websites that compete with Pigeon Watch.
Members are not permitted to post details of lottery style activities (raffles/lotteries/fundraising etc).
New members are not permitted to post wanted or sales topics on Pigeon Watch until they have been a member on the forums for 6 months, at which point the Sales and Wanted forums will automatically appear in Trading Post, and members will be able to post in these forums. If you wish to use a signature or Avatar, it must not have any political, racial or offensive meanings/insinuations, blatant or discreet.
Considering the real-time nature of this Forum, it is impossible for Admin to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that Admin do not actively monitor the contents of posted messages and are not responsible for any messages posted. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this Forum, or any entity associated with this Forum.
Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact Admin immediately by using the "report" facility on the post. Admin have the ability to remove objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if its determined that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realise that it may not be possible to remove, or edit, particular messages immediately.
It is strictly prohibited to post or hyperlink to, any material which is defamatory, threatening, obscene, harmful, pornographic or of a sexual nature, or material which would violate or infringe in any way upon the rights of others (including intellectual property rights, copyrights, rights of confidentiality, or rights of privacy) or cause distress or inconvenience or which do not comply with all relevant laws. You must not post messages that are vulgar, crude, sexist, racist, homophobic, offensive, or otherwise violating any law.
Posts containing religious or racial content, are not permitted on the forums.
The use of bad language, or mock bad language, is prohibited. It is not permitted for members to steer a thread away from its topic of conversation. If you wish to change the subject matter, start a new topic entirely. If you post something that you later wish to be removed, it is your responsibility to edit it. The process of editing is just as simple as the process of posting.
Although this Forum does not review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, Admin reserves the right to monitor and delete any message for any, or no, reason whatsoever and may block or terminate your membership for violating any of these terms.
You are responsible for all statements made and acts that occur through the use of your membership and password. Please don't disclose your password to anybody. If your password has been stolen, you must let Admin know. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pigeon Watch and the makers of the bulletin board software, and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
Pigeon Watch cannot and does not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the news, information, or other content found on our site, or its usefulness for any particular purpose. You understand and acknowledge that information posted or transmitted by other users are the sole responsibility of the person from which such material originated. Pigeon Watch takes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or even truth of the information posted. By your use of this service, you agree that Pigeon Watch shall not be liable for any decision made, or action taken, by you or others based upon reliance on news, information, or any material published by Pigeon Watch. Pigeon Watch makes no claims or representations as to the accuracy, completeness, or truth of any material contained in our website.
All information provided on Pigeon Watch is to be used on an, "as is, with all faults" basis. Administration also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are forbidden. Pigeon Watch reserves the right to reproduce any post to this board.
The Administration Staff of Pigeon Watch reserve the right to suspend the membership of any member suspected to be in violation of these rules, or for any other reason at their discretion.
Cancellation of Orders
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us [Pigeon Watch Limited, Park Farm, Hoggington Lane, Southwick, BA14 9NR / admin@pigeonwatch.co.uk ] of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (eg a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the model cancellation form here but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than-
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with the contract, and in the event of any queries please contact us: admin@pigeonwatch.co.uk .
