  1. There is a 50cal uk club.

    http://www.fcsa.co.uk/

Who are we? This club website is dedicated to the legitimate sport of .50 calibre target rifle shooting in the UK. We are now one of the fastest growing target shooting clubs in the UK. Range events and competition details can be found here, so if you already shoot target rifle but want to see what you can do beyond the usual 1000 yards then 50cal shooting might be the challenging sport you've been looking for. We shoot the same competitions as our American counterparts (check out www.fcsa.org ) and use the same set of competition rules, some of our members also shoot in mainland Europe and Norway as well as here in the UK.

  2. My point was how do they expect an investigation to be carried out which actually gets to the truth? And what will it prove or help to achieve?

There was no chance of him making it to trial, just imagine you are a rebel soldier who's had to deal with gaddafi's tanks etc killing his friends, family etc, you're in the middle of a war, of course he was going to end up dead. This wasn't snactioned by the interim council so bit early to be saying we've let another tyrant in. Not saying that it was necessarily the right way to go but calling for independent inquiries is a waste of time, far better to let them all celebrate and move on with a fresh start.

    :stupid:

  3. I upset one of our stuck up neighbours. She has got two ewoks on leads that my jack russell hates. I asked her what type of dogs they were and she said "Shoodle" They are ****zu poodle mix" "Surely that makes them **** poos? " My wife was mortified and the snooty neighbour just walked off.!

    brilliant :good:

Theres some info for you

    Disinfecting surfaces and materials

Disinfecting surfaces and non-porous materials is extremely simple, as the leptospira bacterium is very sensitive to disinfectants, soaps and many other household chemicals even at low concentrations. Despite the bacteria being extremely dangerous during an infection, they are one of the easiest to control - at least within buildings.

Any non-porous surface that has dried for more than a minute or two will be safe, and will remain so even if it becomes wet again - the bacteria are instantly killed by drying.

Normal concentrations of detergent, disinfectant and soap can be used to clean surfaces; there is no need to use specialist chemicals or higher concentrations, no need to use hot water or to soak items for a long time. In laboratories, cleaing is a far more complex problem as we need to not only kill the bacteria but remove all traces of them - for infection control outside the lab we only care about killing them. We cannot promote any commercial brands of cleaning products, but any product with a proven antibacterial action (disinfectants, bleaches, alcohol-based solutions, etc.) will be effective against leptospires even if they are not mentioned on a label. Bacteria such as E. coli and MRSA are far more difficult to kill, so any product that can deal with them can also deal with leptospires.

Where cleaning chemicals are not available, some benefit has been found in the fact leptospires are very intolerant of acid - a solution of acetic acid (vinegar) or citric acid (lemon juice) will work as a disinfectant, for example to wash hands on a camping trip. Alcohol is also effective but requires a greater concentration.

  5. aye its happened to me too.. i had a cali-king mutant <bars nose to tail instead of around>called Ian that the gas mas let out cos he thought it was an empty tank..

6month later i had some bassy music on n a skinny head came out of the fireplace n then shot back in. i microwaved a small mouse n baited the hole then watched as he sneaked out n took it.after a few moments it was a few inch down n he realized he was now too fat for the hole he was sticking out of so he was caught with ease

after his sabbatical it became clear that his head stopped growing so i ended up with a 5` fat snake with a pin head no bigger than my thumb...looked very odd.

    Got any pics??
