hi mate .ive been reading your post about getting a .223.ive just been in the same situation.ive just had my slot taken off for a .243.ive no intrest in deer.ive just got a new howa 1500.223 of adrian brown its a cracking rifle groups the size of a 5p coin at 100yds.with cheap remminton american eagle hp 50g rounds.if your intrested in a .223 give me a shout and you can try the rifle.cheers daz
