I have a permission close to where I live that I havent been to in a while due to work commitments, having 4 weeks off and time on my hands I hoped for a few days shooting. Squared my kit away this morning and gave the land owner a courtesy call to say I would be setting up on some wheat stubble, his wife (pigeon lover) informed me that the land owner was in hospital and not to set up as the pigeons were not damaging any crops!
Wondered if anyone needed a field covering before I go to Afghanistan on Sept 1st?

Ive recently bought a pair of the Peltor Sportac electronic, the had come down in price from £164 to £99, totally love them, you can hear a pin drop and cut out then a shot is fired.

I forever seemed to be going out of the hide to fix the wings that kept turning inside out in the wind, also if any of your carbon rods break then your ****, they arent bad in general but i found they spooked more birds than they attracted.
