  1. Hi, I am regretfully selling my kit due to ill health. I get the shakes so air rifle practice is pretty much useless.
I Bought the rifle, PAO F1 5-20 X 50 IR PA FFP and Hogan Decimeater Moderator from DAI in October 2021 for
just under a thousand pounds and used it about four times at Blackbrook so no more than a few hundred pellets
through it. Included in sale FXairguns Wireless Chronograph, Leupold RX-600 rangefinder, WEbley Pro Tilt Bipod 6-9"
plus 3Ltr Dive bottle which I'll have to assume is out of date as bought a year before this rifle. One unopened tin
plus 3 nearly full tins of .22. Price is £650, payment by bank transfer on collection from Walsall.

  2. I used to work delivering UPVC windows for a place that made them. I would go to a local manufacturer rather than a window fitter. Cut out the middle man for sure.Take as many pics as possible. There are many different manufacturers of "profile" so any given window maker might not use the same profile. Sorry if this seems obvious, just hoping to help. best of luck.

He services my car and half the lads at works. He is beyond OCD when it comes to looking after every tiny detail. When I get it mot they even know he has done the work because of the way he grease every bolt and nut and checks things over.

He sounds like James May LOL. That being a good thing in my book.

    Thank you.

Hopefully it's around at my mates tomorrow afternoon, I can drop it off and he says he can plug it into to his computer. It helps when he worked for a vw and audi specialist 😁

That's a good friend to have, he should know his way around fault code.

  5. When you say glow plug light? SO its a diesel? Assume you have a smart phone? You can get an OBD2 reader for about £15 and run your own diagnostic. AS a garage and definetly a main stealer will charge £50 to run a diagnostic it pays for itself first time. OBD2 reader plugs in, usually under the dash, but you'll find out off interweb. than bluetooth the reader to your phone via an app called Torque. This will give you a code to look up. YOu can delete the fault code from the cars ECU (brain) and it might not come back. If it does you can get it sorted.

Hope i'm not being patronising, I don't know how tech savvy you are. Apologies If you already know all this. I use the BAFX reader by the way. Also maybe go on a Seat forum?

    Good luck

hello, from what i can remember on my 410 the bolt might just hit the bottom of the unit, many are using a 11mm to waver adapter,  look on the A N T supplies web site, i would be inclined to use that mount the other way around just on the real rail if the is enough length, my photon scope is only fixed on the rear and still get good eye relief

Cheers, so if it does interfere I can always raise it up with adapters then. Result.

  7. HI just thinking about NV and the Pard NV008 LRF seems a good choice and good price. But will it fit on the S410F and allow clearence for the 10 shot mag or intefere with the bolt action? Anyone had this cobmo? See from the picture it's an odd beastie to mount.

    Stay safe and well folk

UPDATE, Yes it will fit, see photo, with the "It mounts with picatinny rail so 11mm dovetail rifles need an adapter", photo off of airgunforum dot co dot uk.

  8. Hi Bruno, thanks for the tips. Can I change the O rings myself. Yes it is used. I think the stock is from an older S410 as the newer F is ambidextrous. I had heard 180 bar, to be safe. I'm not intending on taking the rifle in the bath with me or using it as a golf bat so I should be fine lol. Cheers for the tips. Been watching a lot of h YouTube vids to familiarise myself with it.

Welcome back, hopefully you'll post a bit more, the Air Arms are a nice rifle, Blade silencers get good reviews and are cheap enough.

    Just looked 10 posts since 2009 😂

Sure is a nice rifle and accurate all day long. I'll try and do some updates on how I find the rifle etc. Time flies don't it.

It is just a cover cap, protects the crown and fitting. Put a decent moderator on it, I have the old AA one. It’s fine but doesn’t match the barrel finish.

Thanks WalkedUp, I will certainly be getting one. The review I read said the Q-tec was very good.

I think you might be right, there. I've used pretty much every air rifle silencer out there and the HW is still the best

Cheers, I'll keep that in mind.

On the subject of mods. I've used both and the HW probably just has the edge in terms of sound suppression. The thing I don't like about it (I have one on my HW110) is that it does scratch  easily and wears those scratches quite obviously. From what I remember, the Q-Tec's better for that.

I'de be happy witha pre owned mod anyway so not that fussed. I believe the Wierauch is also cheaper?

  12. Thanks for your help. Was looking for a good price and learned this

"*If purchasing in the UK this Silencer can either be collected from our shop or sent to an RFD or your choice (please enter the nominated dealer's details in the delivery address on check out)."

Can get it sent to the shop I'm getting the rifle and other gear from. I'll email them. Or just get them to order one for me.

    Cheers

  13. HI, I've put a deposit down on a .22 Air Arms 410F which i'll get once the restrictions on sales are lifted. Very exited as I could only afford a springer before  with an average scope. This one cones with a Hawke AirMax 3-12x50. Looks like it has the standard barrel end it came with, not sure if it has any silencing effect at all or is just a weight? So will be getting a silencer/moderator. THinking Weirauch or the Air Arms Q-Tec. Can someone tell me what the barrel attachemnt size is and any preferences as to silencer for this rifle?

    Cheers

  15. Slight diversion.

Anyone here ever tanned rabbit skins? Or Fox? I read up on it but the chemicals sound a bit nasty to say the least. I know that Oak (bark or chippings?) have been used to tan hides for many centuries.

I reckon you could make a really nice gun bag from them?
