    Hi,

     

    I offered this a while back so here it goes again.

     

    I have been shooting for a few years now and i am a responsible, insured SGC holder. I'm offering my help, whether it be picking up, helping to lug the kit, shine the lamp or set up a hide in return for the experience. I do not expect to shoot, just to watch and offer any help i can.

     

    Please do not take this as a 'asking for permission thread' because it is not. Im just looking to learn some field craft and further my knowledge of shooting from an experienced shooter.

     

    Im based in Derbyshire at J28 and can travel :good:

     

    (A pint or two is also included in the offer)

    hi guys my father and i are really struggling to obtain ferreting permission for the for coming season, i live in ebbe vale south wales but we are willing to travel for some permission,

    hi mate,i have a place in the bedfordshire area,which is thick with rabbits,if you're willing to travel,may be able to help with fuel costs.ferrets,pursenets and longnets only,no guns at request of owner,if you're interested,message me asap,with phone no,mark.

    hi everyone,been waiting for the farmer to start harvesting,couldn't contact him so drove by to check it out.a lot of pigeons feeding on beans,rape is now being harvested next to where i have permission,so with luck,they'll be cutting my fields and the birds will hit them.supposed to be dry tomorrow,so hopefully they'll be more active with the rain stopping.anyone found that woodies hit beans more when they're wet? seems to be the case at the mo,they did not seem interested when it was dry. :shoot:

    Hey,

     

    I am an experienced shooter living near the town of Thame, Oxfordshire. I own about 1,000 acres of land and shoot pigeon and pheasant extensively. We currently have a muntjac infestation and although i hold a shotgun licence i do not hold a firearms licence, and therefore do not own a rifle. I am looking for an experienced deer hunter willing to come out in the evenings to help control these muntjac, I hope that you wouldn't mind if i tag along, I do know the best places to shoot them and where they cross open ground etc...

     

    I am not offering any payment, seeing this more as a shooting opportunity than a pest control job, you will be able to keep anything you shoot. I shoot allot of pigeon on the land and dont currently own a gun dog due to travelling commitments, so anyone who helped me out with this deer issue and has an interest in pigeon shooting and rough shooting in the winter, im sure we can come to an arrangement :yes:

     

    This would be a fairly informal arrangement, we would set up a time, you would come out to the estate, and we would go out together with the rifle and possibly a few drinks and some grub and just stalk some deer. If that sounds good to anybody please send me a message.

    PS: I just checked and the land is not cleared for firearms use, and getting the police out here will probs take a while, so could I please only have responses from people with open licenses, thanks alot.
