  1. Hi Gents and any Ladies out there, Ive recently made a purchase via web site NVScopes.com and im not happy with their service ! its now been over a week and when making a call to the company to chase up the Mag to ask whats going on ! im then told by the receptionists we ONLY pass your request to the person who runs NVScopes as we dont know any info or stock of the purchased item ? then to be told all correspondence must be done via e-mail only, so 24hrs on after leaving my mobile number with a written request of whats happening ? Am I going to recieve the Mag ? IGNORED ! So Buyers Beware ? I can only assume the worst as no replies as yet have been recieved. Any one else been in this position with NVScopes.com

  2. Richardsons is the place of purchase  Shop prices are getting silly like you all know they are different in every shop I go into eg: Winney subs, Richardsons £4.59 Friarage H/pool £5.50, Northallerton £4.20 and on  The main reason I got these is the local keeps running out of winneys and I end up spending on fuel traveling,so was looking for an alternative as im sick of phoneing the northeast for who has stock lol.

  3. Hi Gents, Any of you had the chance of trying the Fiocchi .22HP SUBs these are a 38gr :hmm: I've just bought a couple of boxes for a try and as a visual look they dont seem badly made, they have a nice clean workmanship to them, nice tapered head and much smaller hollow point(half winny sub) took a photo with the phone as best as I could so take a look, the ammo on the left is the Winchester sub, Fiocchi on the right.post-20373-0-21799100-1337438204.jpgpost-20373-0-04663900-1337438217.jpgpost-20373-0-18751800-1337438232.jpg

  4. Had a good friend visit today and the conversation started about closed certificates and after hearing my comments on the requirement of informing your licensing dept of where you are shooting for every farm being a pain, but an important requirement, made him check his certificate and unfortunate for him its closed ! He was shooting early 70s till 1984 then submitted a letter on renewal explaining that renewal of certificate was not required as he had sold all his rifles. He kept his shotgun Cert active over the following years till in 2010 decided to apply again as a Fac holder. After 26yrs of lapse time his application for certificate was approved but because of the years apart there must be no records kept for the prevous certificate held, thus closed cert. Heartache  Permission letters are on there way, Thought I would share this with you all, incase simular has happened with friends ? And for thought incase anyone may do the same. :)

  5. Might as well get my penith in !! Had mine since crimbo and the first time out lost the feet in the mud so replaced with walking stick rubbers  then as other have mentioned the metal material thats been used is very soft and easily bends, then walking with the shoulder strap over the thing falls to the floor ! the stiching came undone  and that velcro fastiner gets up the naffs with mud at this time of year. Am also a keen carp fisherman and the alloy material used on seats , beds on there products is far superior than this seat ! :o

  6. Sorry to hear of your problem but in un heated room the only way is ventilation  the dogs shud be fine if they have their natural winter coat, I have a problem in my dog of ripping everything to shreds, tried carpet, blanket and now give up, he sleeps on a wood board in the basket with what ever hes just ragged and hes no worse for wear. Hope you get sorted :good:

  7. Great replies lads and taken on board your comments :good: I visited the pond while the snows been down and could only find rat prints and fox :hmm: As theres a lot of dog walkers visit the pond area. But what is strange the owner has recieved e-mails offering quotes for otter nets for his waters :o , within the time span from finding the fish carcas to present day I thought rather strange :hmm: But is this becoming a problem for alot of fisheries and coarse ponds alike :/ Thanks again lads and if the problem persists will keep you all updated. Cheers Keith :good:

  8. Hi Lads as the topic, Found a dead fish carcas round a fishery on my permission and im worried its a mink ? :hmm: the prints measurement was roughly 2/2.5cm long and if you agree its going to cause alot of headache, the fish that was taken must of weighed a good 6/7 pounds. Tried to get the best photo as possible and internet pic to compare so what your thoughts ?post-20373-0-21003000-1328221089.jpg and again in an enlargment,post-20373-0-63401200-1328221137.jpgthe next photos are examples of mink post-20373-0-33150900-1328221268.jpgpost-20373-0-51813300-1328221316.jpgpost-20373-0-36582600-1328221364.jpgAny Help is Appreciated. :good:
