  1. That definitely wasn't the best start to married life. It is mate, £35,750 quid to you pal haha.

Wasn't sure if i should write on this post with some of the long range geese i bring down. Remember that one last year Graham and Mat i brought down at 117 yards.

  2. Strange season for me, had a couple of geese, one of which was whilst holidaying on a different marsh and one mallard. Haven't been on the foreshore as much as i'd of liked this year due to work and getting married like an idiot. However i'm only in my 3rd season, and its been a good season for learning and seeing different places. Again this year i've met some cracking lads and was lucky enough to join a mate on his wildfowling holiday, seen some gorgeous sun rises and been pelted in the face by driving rain. Ripped my new waders on barbed wire and got to fire a 4 bore. Also managed to save a fortune on breakfasts by avoiding ayano3. Cheers all, see you on the 1st

  3. Really don't know what you boys are on about with my amazing calling. Those ducks usually reside in dumfries but when they heard me they all flocked at once haha

Cheers for the advice mudpattern, i'll try that. I definatley need some help with it like but i'll get there in the end

Also just incase anyone thinks i'm thick, i know ducks don't come herds

  4. Got this week off so got talked into coming home to help out with the harvest. Whilst pottering along on the combine last night i noticed a few pigeons feeding on one of the fields we'd just cut. Right i thought, i'll have myself a crack at them in the morning before the combine beckons again. After getting set up i noticed a familiar sight in the distance, two mallard flying up the river, brilliant i thought, not long till the 1st now. Right, back to the pigeons, then out of the corner of my eye i noticed a whole herd of birds skimming over the hedgerows, once again, flipping mallard, typical that!!! Anyway to cut a long story short i had 3 pigeons in total but for 2 hours i had at least 300 million mallard flying all around me at ranges of 15 yards at some points!! Now what are the chances of that happening on sunday? Absolutely stunning sight though and now i really can't wait to get on the foreshore

P.s. if anyone knows how to load videos from an iphone i have some good footage of this
