For your interest guys in my hw 95 there is a full 2 ft/lb difference between hn ftt greens and cross man ultra mags (1.77), that said there is a full 10 grains difference between the 2 pellets.
I know for a fact that a Prometheus pellets is likely to go thorugh the gun and a good 2 or 3 ft/lbs than a crossman ultra mag. Just shows how much difference pellet type can make.

Before you spend any money mate get it chrono'd this will tell if it is definitely down on power. All gas rams are affected my the cold weather and your rifle could experience a slight power loss if cold for prolonged period. However, if the power is down the most likely cause is that the ram has lost air, you can either get it pumped back up (gunsmith or somebody who owns pump) or get it serviced at theoben (£69), the service will address any potential issues with worn seals etc. Great guns the fenmsn.

I recently purchased a BSA ultra multishot .22 and an FX 3 stage pump because I got some permission to shoot in some gardens. Basically I've never got around to going shooting on there and I don't see a point in keeping the air rifle. It's only been out to get zeroed. Both rifle and pump at as new condition an I should still have the boxes. There is no scope with this and only the original moderator.
