Found in our fox cage trap this evening :
The lengths some wildlife will go to to escape our cat ...
what have you done with the ferret?

Come and live in the South East and see how much shooting you get!
The only way most of us here get ANY pigeon shooting is to pay for it!
Like i said earlier if we all stuck together and no one paid to shoot vermin, these "Guides" would soon go out of buisness and the farmers would need guys like you to control the pigeons.
-
If everybody stuck together and no one paid to shoot vermin we wouldnt be reading this chat, the blame lies with the people that pay to shoot pigeons rather than the others that go door knocking to get permissions.

12 shots was he the terminator or do they need more shooting practice? Looks way over the top for a guy with a knife.

Thought they where supposed to eat song birds eggs? would have thought a pheasnts egg would be on the big side for them. I have only ever seen them with an acorn in there mouth TBH but have witnessed there cousin the maggpie raiding nests and killing young birds.

You can buy bags of Quick drying Concrete made especialy for putting up fence posts, takes about 15-25 mins to set. Did mine last year, like you said hardest parts digging out the old posts and digging holes for the new. Get your misses on the end of the spade

In particular, care should be taken when siting Guns near public highways. Section 161 of the Highways Act 1980 (England & Wales) makes it an offence to discharge a firearm within 50 ft of the centre of a highway having vehicular rights without lawful authority or excuse, if as a result a user of the highway is injured, interrupted or endangered.
How does that apply when shooting near a mottorway? where would be the centre of the highway? Central reservation? or middle lane?

Yh that's one thing I'm ordering before the season starts again. Any advice on which one to get?
Am not 100% but i think mine was made by Deben not sure of the model, its about 10 years ago since i had ferrets though. Am sure someone on here can point you in the right direction. PM me your address i have a book on ferrets i can post to you, gives you a bit of info on how to treat illness and that and general care.

I have found 2 in the past, while i was out rabbiting and both turned out to be crackers, dont know why people dont invest in a ferret finder, especially if you have a good un. Glad shes found a Good home

What are you supposed to do if you need carts in the mean time ? Cant see the point in taking away your old one.
