I have a Browing 12 gauge but prefer to use the .410 as is moderated, (better for noise control, which means not so many lights come on in the nearby housing estate, and less subseqent blues and twos).

I have a problem with foxes as I keep small animals, I used to dispatch them (the foxes) with my 410 but I have been told that if it is not a 'clean kill' I can get prosecuted. I have not shot one since then for fear of a Policeman leaping out of the hedge with a notepad. I am a reasonable shot and 80% are clean, but sometimes......
