Couple of questions.
Is there any reason that this sort of treatment would not be suitable for fox snares?
How frequently do you need to repeat the process?

Nice find, badger skulls are quite unusual as the lower jaw still remains well attached to the skull, even after all of the connective tissue is gone.
Just as a note of caution I would draw your attention to the Protection of Badgers Act which makes it an offence to posses any part of a dead badger unless you can prove that it was not killed illegally.

Sounds like they are talking about the new Single Farm Payment, in which case they will get payed whatever they grow, or even if they grow nothing. This is not new money as the SFP only replaces the old IACS system with a few extra conditions attached.

A dustman is going along a street picking up the wheelie bins and emptying them into his dustcart. He gets to one house where the bin hasn't been left out. He has a quick look for it, goes round the back but still can't see it so he knocks on the door. There's no answer so he knocks again. Eventually a Japanese bloke answers... "Harro," says the chap.
"Alright mate, where's your bin?" asks the dustman.
"I bin on toilet" replies the Japanese bloke, looking perplexed. Realising the Japanese fellow has misunderstood, the bin man smiles and says, "No mate, where's ya dust bin?"
"I dust bin on toilet. I told you." says the Japanese man.
"Mate" says the dustman... "you're misunderstanding me... Where's your Wheelie Bin?"
"OK-OK," says the man, "I wheelie bin having a ####."

Last year when I upgraded my .22 to one without dings or rust :wacko: I faced a similar problem. I was told that the turn around time at firearms licensing was about six weeks
. I phoned the firearms department and explained that I couldn't be without my rifle for that length of time, and was told to send in my certificate with a covering letter and they'd see what they could do.Four days later my certificate was returned with my old rifle removed and permission to purchase a new one, and a temporary certificate allowing me to hold my old rifle until i found a new one. Surely Sussex could sort something out along similar lines.

The Geneva Convention deals with prisoners of war and non combatants.
The Hague Convention deals with expanding ammunition on the battlefield.
It is illegal not to use expanding ammunition for deer and is highly recommended for use on all other live quarry.

Had a quad nicked a couple of years ago. Don't hold your breath.
Apparently they are put in the bottom of grain lorries, covered in grain and shipped out to Ireland from where they are reimported and are untraceable.

I wouldn't worry too much about the antis getting hold of pictures and using them against us, they are more than capable of faking their own.
To the bunny huggers killing animals for sport is unacceptable, I don't think it is going to matter that much to them whether they can see the exit wound or not.
The bottom line is we kill birds and animals for a variety of very legitimate reasons, we should not be ashamed or make any apologies for this.
It is nice when the pictures are accompanied by a few lines explaining the story behind the photo. In my mind this shows the posters desire to share the whole experience rather than just trying to impress with a pile of corpses.

A lot of the confusion here seems to arise from the two angles of attack which the Lead Shot Restrictions take.
As you say it is illegal to shoot wildfowl with lead anywhere in England
It is also illegal to shoot anything with lead over the foreshore and any of the two hundred or so SSSI's listed in the legislation.
This only applies to shotguns.
