I am about to get my new CZ 527 in the post and am contemplating the same problems when it comes time to mount a scope. The high bolt handle lift is also a problem on these rifles when mounting a scope. I talked to a guy from Edgar Bros and he recommened a rail by Kozap. When I found a picture of this rail it was not what is required as it does not extend forward past the front dovetail on the rifle. Thus it only really alows the rear mount to be moved forward. The best one I have seen is sold by CZ USA part no 19010. It is a longer type of rail that would do what I would think is required to fix our problems. For some people it would look out of place on the rifle but for me it would be fine as mine is the synthetic version and not so traditional. I live in Australia and CZ USA won't ship it here so I am in a bit of a pickle as to how I am going to get one.
