    Weird little fella!

     

    I have read that you now have some muntjac living wild in Holland, are they spreading in range??

     

    What you really need is a dozen Chinese water deer releasing, unfortunately it is a long way for them to swim over the north sea though.

     

    I´m hunting in Denmark, no muntjac here, but just bring some, and some chinese water deer too :)

  20. Another buck from Denmark

    Was out this morning and there was roe deer all over, mostly in the neighbour field

     

    I could see 4 bucks and 5 female and the border line is a littel river, about 1 meter wide but the river side is about 3-4 meter high and they like to eat the graas down the sides.....

     

    Then 3 female was going down the riverside and a little buck was only 60 meter from me, but still on the wrong side.

    The wind was good and I hoped to see the one I was looking for getting on the right side, but I couldent see him

     

    The 3 females was about 300 meter from me and suddently a smaller buck was on its way near the ladies, and like the roadrunner, beeep beeep, the big buck was on the river side.....

     

    The smal buck jumped on the other side of the river and ran 30 meter in the corn field. Looking at the bigger buck like he said, I´m not afraid.

    At that moment I was ready to run like hell, the minut the chase starts, and I dident have to wait long.

     

    The bigger buck jumped over the river and chased the other buck and I ran like a crazy, to get closer to where I guessed he would go back after the chase.....

    After a 100 meter sprint with the rifle on the back and binocular jumping around my neck, the chase stopped and I got down on my hands and knees, and try to get a little closer, because the buck was on its way back to the river......

     

    I got down and my bipods out and the grass was not to high, but it was a 200 meter shot and the buck was in slow run, not the best thing for a long shot.....

     

    But I had my Buttolo call in my jacket and I got it up while I pushed the safty bottom and a little sqeeze on the call, and he stopped.

    That was the last thing he ever heard

     

    He dropped on the spot at 190 meter with a perfect shot

     

    On my way back to the car the small buck was sitting in the grass, in the side of the dirt road and I was 15 meter from him before he got up and ran away........

     

    But the big one never chase him again
